Burger night!
Thought it was time to try out a new veggie burger recipe, so I decided to give these Chickpea Burgers from Our Veggie Kitchen a whirl.
Not bad! There’s a lot of good stuff in these (chickpeas, lentils, brown rice), and I love that I now have a bunch of them in the freezer for super fast meals in the future.
They have a nice sort-of retro taste to them that reminds me of my mom’s 70s style vegetarian cooking. (Don’t misunderstand, I don’t mean that in any negative way, I dig the old school flavours big time. Even carob! My mom has been vegetarian for over 35 years, so retro-veg tastes like home to me.)
So yeah, think I’ll add these to my homemade veggie burger rotation.
